Vice Mayor of East Jakarta, Kusmanto said if there are reports from residents that their water sources are experiencing drought, supplies will be provided as soon as possible.

Kusmanto added that the reservoirs and ponds in East Jakarta is very helpful in maintaining water availability during the dry season.
"We have reservoirs and ponds in a number of areas in East Jakarta that can store water," he added.
A number of these reservoirs include Pondok Ranggon Reservoir and Batu Licin Reservoir in Cipayung District, Embung Kaja in Ciracas, and Dukuh Reservoir in Kramat Jati District.
"We also continue to increase greening in East Jakarta as an effort to maintain groundwater sustainability," he stated.
